Source: Fumble. type Wondrous Item, Uncommon or Rare rarity, Requires attunement Wondrous item, uncommon or rare These talismans are made to divert malicious spells from their intended subject and ensnare them for future use. A Bauble Trap always includes a strand of the protected subject's hair. Thwart The attuned creature adds 1d4 to its saving throws against spells of which it is the sole target. If it succeeds, the spell fails and has no effect, and is stored within the Bauble Trap, which loses this property. Unleash Thereafter, a creature that breaks the Bauble Trap or is struck by it as an improvised thrown weapon releases the spell and becomes its new target. The Bauble Trap is then destroyed. An Uncommon Bauble Trap can hold a spell of level 5 or lower. A Rare Bauble Trap can hold a spell of any level. When creating a Bauble Trap, a witch can name a specific spell against which the saving throw bonus increases to 2d6. Requires attunement Wondrous Item Uncommon or Rare
