Source: Fumble. type Wondrous Item, Very Rare rarity, Not required Wondrous item, very rare The Map This seemingly ordinary Map is drawn on delicate but durable Parchment. It shows only the coastlines, major mountain ranges, and a few landmarks of the Chult peninsula until its true power is used by an explorer. Revealing the Map When the bearer travels through the jungle, they can focus on remembered details of the terrain, rivers, lakes, ruins, or settlements to see those details appear on the Parchment. The process is not automatic and requires a conscious act of will and a moment of reflection. If the bearer did not notice something or has forgotten it, the Map remains blank there until they remember the information or visit the area again. Unreliable Knowledge The Map does not show living creatures or moving objects. Its contents always reflect what the traveler believes to be true, even if that belief is wrong. False beliefs, omissions, and deliberate lies can appear on the Parchment as readily as reliable knowledge. Not required Wondrous Item Very Rare
