Source: Puncheons and Flagons. recipe type The Hearth, serves 6, diet Vegetarian Ingredients 1.5 cups gin 0.5 cup orange liqueur, such as Cointreau 0.5 cup red vermouth 0.75 cup fresh lemon juice 0.5 ounce bitters 12 ounces water 2 Earl Grey tea bags 3 orange slices 2 2 1 cinnamon stick 0.25 cup sugar Lemon slices, for garnish Instructions In a large, heatproof pitcher, combine the gin, orange liqueur, red vermouth, lemon juice, and bitters. In a small saucepan, bring the water to a boil over medium-high heat. Add the tea bags, orange slices, cloves, cinnamon stick, and sugar and turn off the heat. Steep for 4 to 6 minutes. Set a fine-mesh strainer over your pitcher and strain the mixture into it. Stir well and pour carefully into tea cups. Garnish with lemon slices and serve at once.
